Web2Storage's second product extends the IT ease-of-use capability to the small business market, so that those business can establish email archiving, backup, anti-virus and remote replication without IT expertise. This combination of advanced storage capabilities with autoconfiguration, including iSCSI , NAS, and Web Services running on an open-source platform make this a ideal play for SaaS capabilities. The internet will continue to be too slow for pure SaaS solutions, but a migration path to the Internet cloud computing model by the local storage/servers will be required to unleash the promise of SaaS. Note:Time Capsule is a Apple product which is dominating the network drive market with very little time in the market. |
